Lifeless - Poem by Kayla Degraw

Shattered glass
It's part of her past
Screams over the noise
No one hears her childish cry
She won't have time to say good bye
All alone she is her own bestfriend
She can't walk away
Or she will pay the next day
Every hit and every slap
This time might be her last
Behind the couch she sits and waits
For he chance to break away
For her, time was up
He didn't stop until she dropped
Lifelessly and incomplete
No chioce or chance
To live Nor breathe
One things for sure
He did succeed
Now she lays there and can'y breathe
