Lighting A Fire - Poem by Natalie Rojas

i may not seem much a little child in need of friends
i may not be the smartest with the most advanced vocabulary
my skills are often acknowleged as 'mediocore'
playing to much sports im branded as a boy
but on thing i have many say a heart of a lion
you may push me down but ill find a way back up
you may not like me and i dont like you our major diffrences
but there is something we have in common, we respect eachother
its a hazy feeling knowing we used to be friends but there was something we had common to start that bond
