Like The Sound Of Bells Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Like The Sound Of Bells

Rating: 3.0

To touch you 'there'
Would mean so much.
To lift your feet,
From thick restrictions haunting.
Your tears keep you cloaked
With unwanted burdens on your shoulders.
I 'see' this with my heart that feels.
I'd like to remove...
Whatever is there,
Peel by peel!
Wanting to hear your laughter ring...
Like the sound of bells to all with appeal!
To touch you 'there'
Would mean so much!
You have substance.
You have beauty.
With a voice that sparkles...
And this 'has' to be revealed!

Oh, I enjoyed this one. To touch one there and lift the clouds! A gift. H
