Limerick - Hugh Jasso - Poem by Brian Mayo

There once was a guy named Hugh Jasso
Who mastered the rope and the lasso
Then he hog-tied the dame
Who made fun of his name
Now they're married and live in El Paso.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I thought-up a funny name and wrote this limerick the next day.
Then I googled the name, out of curiosity, because it was just too obvious a moniker for me to have been the first one to think of it...
Indeed, there seems to be several people out there using this name online. Oh well. Written 1/10/16

i also took a while to 'get the joke'. good one!

i think in college some people used to make a 'blind call' and ask for Hugh Jardon.
