(limerick) When A Book Hit My Head - Poem by WES Vogler

From a house to a condo I came.
PLACing high SHELving, the game.
When a book hit my head,
No complaints, 'cause instead,
I had only my shelf left to blame.

(pardon the pun and rate anyway)

Thank you Ratnakar .. The limerick is deceptively simple but the rhyming and the meter are very disciplined. Give it a try and I will be glad to tear it to pieces and re-construct. I will be very fierce so you may learn easily. Looking forward to your first limerick.
