Limitations - Poem by Daipayan Nair

There's nothing more
to know in this world
than my own equal understanding
Anything apart from that
feels like pulling mysteries, out of their circles
like the ones, I do to your breast
Things then tend to follow,
tend to be known
and I being an amateur,
start repeating it with all equal ones
I pull the moon out of its attachment,
the Sun out of its enlightenment,
the eyeball out of its peaceful obsession
Round puffs of some, goblets of rum
I was, am, will be known to love
but the kidnapper, teaser and the murderer
will make me fall for it.
