Little Alone Butterfly Poem by Melissa Jones

Little Alone Butterfly

a little alone, know one notices me.
A little alone, captured, no longer free.
I manage to fly even when my wings cry.
Look at my life see what can and cannot be.
I realize now I can't fight my destiny.
Am i supposed to live here?
where my heart sheds only tears.
Why won't they leave, dissapear.
Like the sun on my shoulders, time has passed,
I am now older.
It's reality I notice now and forever.
All things happen for a reason, never say never.
I am like a human with no heart yet so clever.
It's my time to spread my wings and fly, soar wherever.
Im supposed to be that butterfly.
Who is always a little alone.
Its not my fault my wings are like stone.
I will flow and flutter as I fly.
Continue my journey and not die.
This will be my first and final cry.
I will grow and shape myself in time.
