Lonely Days - Poem by Hariharan Srivatsan

Why do I feel I am all alone
In the midst of a filled salon?
There are people here and there
But I feel I am nowhere

But of all, I love the most,
When a place is filled utmost,
And I sat in the middle without a care
Just hearing sounds and breathin’ air

For, no one knows me there,
I am a stranger from somewhere
With a lot of them around me
Filled with warmth though distant
That’s all I want
