Lonely Heart - Poem by Margret Jacobsen

You tiptoe around my heart,
Like its a sleeping baby
Carefull not to wake,
The hidden emotions within

Trapped, tied down and restricted,
Hidden emotions remain dormant
For those who tread lightly,
Do not want them to awaken

Like a bear in deepest hibernation,
Sleeping through the harsh cold winter
Only the warmth of the spring,
Can awaken hibernating emotions

Your heart contains no spring
No warmth for lonley heart of mine
For your hearts emotions,
Have been woken by anothers spring
