Longing's Plea.... Poem by Lalit Vivekanand Kamble

Longing's Plea....

Longing's Plea...my 2nd favourite

My love, my heart, my shining star,
Please come soon, near or far.
In your absence, time stands still,
My soul, a flame, that flickers chill.

Days blend, nights stretch, and hours crawl,
Without you, life loses its thrall.
My thoughts, a maze, where shadows roam,
Yearning for your gentle, guiding home.

Every moment, a whispered prayer,
For your return, my heart's repair.
In your eyes, my solace lies,
With you, my world, awakens, sighs.

Oh, beloved, hasten your pace,
And fill this emptiness with your warm embrace.
My love, my heart, my everything,
Please come soon, and make my heart sing.
