Look At Me - Poem by Selina Davis

Look at me
What do you see
Roses dropping from my skin
Blue skies everytime I am around
The sun rises when I talk
Everyone is happy

But look at me closer
Do you see the thorns digging into my skin?
Do you realise the clouds are grey and raining with my tears?
The sun goes down, I can hide in the dark
I am not happy

It is what you want
But you have to ask before you presume
You have to ask again before you judge
