Looking Into Your Eyes - Poem by Michael P. McParland

As I sit back and relax for a short bit
between the chores that I have
I'd like to just hold you while looking
into your gorgeous eyes.
Taking all the gorgeous Angelic
beauty within to make my heart feel light
and make my soul soar in true delight.
I want to spend this time looking into
your gorgeous sparkling eyes and feel heaven
overtake me in this space and know what
heaven is in its divine grace.

Kira babe how I just want to sit here
in these few minutes holding you
and recharging my heart and spirit
to continue on through my chores until noon
when I could sit down with you to snuggle
during a good lunch and share some kisses so very sweet.
How I just want to stand and relax for
a few minutes babe looking in those gorgeous eyes of yours
and get lost in all the beauty you hold within.
I want to be with my Angel now as from more
than a few things my heart is aching and I want to hold you near,
to look in those eyes and see heaven and true love inside
feeling calm and your loving strength fill me up.
I love you babe and just want to be looking in your eyes
and know that everything is going to be alright.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I love you Kira and as I go about trying to just finish up some things and push myself to do others I think of you to help me through and I can feel you and your deep love too. I'm sending you all my love and warmth with great big kisses and massive hugs too. ILYF
