In your way I want to be
In your struggle is where I find me
Caught between once right now called wrong
With your direction I shall stay strong
Not on the cross
Your journey I did not make
Though the laughter and disbelief I often take
The world hasn’t changed
The tides have not turned
The scars of your soul
I believe I have earned
Lord I ask if wrong is what I speak
Please direct me on the path I shall
