Weeping Willow

Loss The Moon

Loss the moon
while counting stars
Laughter doesn't last very long
Turning the corner
it's gone

Shades of sadness brush
against my face
My emotions lay flat
as passions escape
Room grows darker
as the frozen sun disappears
Leaving shadows along
the sides of my walls of fears

My two faces collide
inside the memories
of vacant years
Tears drop along the shallow
walls
Leaving stains of blood
through my childhood years

Sadness grows as I struggle
to be free
From all the memories
that silently surround me.
