Ruth MacKenzie

Love - Poem by Ruth MacKenzie

Love is like a bright red rose.
so tastey like ripe strawberries,
on a hot summer's day.
Smell's so sweet,
like a summer's treat.
words can not compare.
Love is a joy born to be found,
cherished are the memories,
that will never die down.
so deep down, love is sweet.
Hearts together, beating forever.
