Love But To Be Loved - Poem by Sofia Xmas

Why did you?
Why did you hurt me so?
Why did you crush this fragile heart?

You were everything to me.
But You hated me so deeply.
Affectingly hated me.

Love be gone now, all gone.
Dead now, I am dead.

I speak from the ground hic et nunc and say,
' Now I am gone. Gone from thee. Now it be your turn. You die, die as I did. Never to love like I had done. To be shunned by the one you love. '

Dead are you now.
Dead as thee.

I speak from the grave next to thee saying,
'Now you are dead. Dead as thee. You were undisired, unwanted, and unloved! Now you know how I felt.'

We are dead now and from the depths we speak,
'None be loved. None but thee. None but we two, in the between, awaiting Gods' spring revitalization.'

So do as we say on this night of the blue devils' disconsolateness, 'Love but only one, Jesus.'
