Love Is Cheap - Poem by Casual Diamond
Love is cheap.
I've seen it in the frozen aisle,
Somewhere between frozen broccoli tips and mixed veg, I think.
There's small bags only - Special Offer - buy one get one free.
Easy come, easy go. Once bitten, twice bitten. It opens a chink.
Never again? You're kidding me - Euphoria!
Cage a bird so beautiful, would you?
Let them fly high and free.
Open your mind to the visions on offer,
Soar away willingly.
Epicurus! Are you epicurean?
Yes, oh yes.
