Love Laissez Faire - Poem by Dilantha Gunawardana

I bask in tides of freedom in its pristine purity
Candidly Laissez-faire in ideology
Stroll on a serendipitous beach on virgin white sands
Listen to an acoustic rendition of Dave Matthew's band
Play a game of volleyball on the coconut grove
Stroll on horseback on the seafront's sandy trove
Gaze at a million sunsets as Ra showers her blessings
For twilight to bathe the skyline in her starry dressings
To walk hand-in-hand with my soul mate
Like a picture perfect William and Kate
Smell my beloved's tresses as they bow to gravity
As I fondle her abdomen with subtle creativity
She softly moans and kisses my lips
As my hands gently caress her luscious hips
I want to hold her in my arms forever
For us to gently caramelize together
As the body furnace gravitates to the skies
The sweetness of our bodies blend embellished with spice
She the fragrant cinnamon of unconditional affection
Ambrosia to my lips as they taste her body's perfection
Basking on the shores of the tanned Serendib isles
Adorned with sweet caramel for life's future miles
Sweetness unblemished my beloved showers
For me to levitate to the heavens as the exosphere hovers
I am one of the lucky one that freedom smiled upon
With a lifetime warranty certified by God's coupon
Now I laze around in the autumn of my life
With a whisk of love from my auburn wife
Life in its purest immaculate glory
Basking in Eden, in our own unique freedom story
