Love Lives On - Poem by Melissa Furey

In 1911 young Joyce Ranlen family set out on the titanic
She met 18 Antony Frey who was wealthy like she was and so romantic
It was love at first sight
the two of them would dance most of the night

When the titanic crashed
so did the love that they had
He kissed Joyce his last goodbye
walking away a tear pored out of his eye

The two got on different life boats not knowing if either survived
They looked for each other as soon as another life boat arrived
5 years later they were now remarried had children of there own
but when they were 60 they both suffered loss and lived alone

They went to a survivors reunion at 74
Antony found the girl he adored
With hardly any sight he struggled to see
but to him she was still his girl and so pretty
They remarried a week later with there family and kids
After suffering from loss it was the best thing they did
