I want to dance a liquid measure
A warm viscous tune
And float in a Latin sunset
Just you and me

I want to trace your lips
With a single worshipping finger
And taste them in one kiss
One kiss we will never forget

I want to surprise you
And smooth the furrow of your brow
With an embrace because that instant
I just needed to feel you

I want to hold you hand
That simplest gesture that The Beatles
So beautifully immortalized and walk
Down a street where no one else matters

I want to take photographs of every inch of you
And hang them in the subway and on
All the many street corners because
There are millions of people doing without beauty

I want to spend one trillion days
In the park, on the beach, in the sun
With just you and your easy smile
Because this is what matters:
