Lying To Ourselves - Poem by Jun Jun
How long are we to keep this up,
this foolish belief that we will last,
this foolish hope that there's a way,
to keep this all together.
How long are we to believe this lie,
to stop ourselves from lonely cries,
to hide ourselves with silly smiles,
we know the truth but are in denial.
The facts are straight and to the point,
we both know all we will recieve is dissapoint,
but we still remain with silly smiles,
that will only last for a while.
