Mahatma Gandhi Comments

Rating: 4.4
Thin and frail, a divine soul in a human frame.
Looked like a saint but was a King
Simplest was the life, unimaginable were the dreams
Won the war without weapons and with un thoughtful means

You have so brilliantly penned this poem about Mahatma Gandhi who brought freedom to India without weapons. I want to cite some lines here.....Won the war without weapons and with un thoughtful means..../ Fought, neither with cannon nor with guns / Neither with saber nor with swords./ Fought with peace but not with violence. Thank you dear Santosh for sharing this marvelous poem.

Very beautiful and timely poem, clearly depicting the rarest combination of the inner strength of a super-human manifesting the greatest power on earth by mobilizing the entire nation nonviolently towards the national freedom of India. This poem is an inspiration to the young generations and should be circulated widely, may be Facebook? Some how we need to get their attention. My congratulations!

Yes, yes, yes, is the feeling I got when reading this ode to M. Gandhi. A Saint, A king, an emperor. A master, a genius. Let us all pray for world peace in M. Gandhi's way.
