' Man' Cannot Be Defeated Comments

Rating: 3.0

Sympathy is
Not less than a destroyer;
It kills the man
Who receives it;

man destroys himself and all that is around, that is the reason this world has gone down.

There is still honest, real love in the world. There are still men who would give their lives for another. There are people who would still sing in the face of adversity and I would sing with them. Is holding back sympathy, empathy, creating anything good? No. Looking away, or hardening your heart into cynicism will only bring bitterness. I, with the persecuted and with the savior, would become vulnerable. I would open my heart and love. And this is the power that changes lives, that the Lord God would touch an open heart. May your heart be open.

Anushmadhu, I believe sincerely in enthusiasm which is the spice of life, I believe also in cycles (in varying forms) . The end is actually the beginning, whilst in actual fact, there is never any end. We should then insist on quality life for everyone, for after all, the pains of life and joys of it, is for man himself.

Did I understand the poem correctly in that: World sympathy is more of a political game (they must not lose face) , than actual sympathy? Like a friend of mine said, “I do not give support because the whole thing feels like I'm feeding one child in my family, and then I let the others starve! Neither of us have given support to Haiti. Personally, I feel like that my tax should cover it, I mean, the tax of the people: we need an objective working system; -) But people do not want to pay more tax so we can truly give our support, therefore, “evolution” makes the whole system subjective. The argument ebbs and flows. We can pick and choose who we want to help and who we let die. A wonderful system! (NOT!) At least we get to satisfy our need for the free will of the choice. If it wasn't disaster in the world, we would make it, because, we have to have our morning paper! However, I study ethics now, and I got to say, it's way more complicated than anything I had ever imagined! It's like a puzzle with 6 billion pieces (if you know what I mean) . Thus I remain humble when it comes to questions of morals and ethics. But let me put it thus: morality does not stem from the Bible! Maybe we can all write a poem together? Titled: Haiti. The poem reminds me of Thomas Metzinger, “Nobody is ever born, and nobody ever dies.” Success does not exist In life, As well The defeat is an illusion. http: // v=mthDxnFXs9k Great poem; -) Powerful theme!

You're right man can be destroyed but can't be defeated, because man is a smart alec. He can be destroyed by the sins he committed. This is a marvelous philosophical poem.
