Marcy’s Windmills Poem by Marilyn Lott

Marcy’s Windmills

We know of a special lady
Marcy is her name
She loves windmills so much
Her yards have grown to fame

Rustic windmill structures
Just blend in with nature’s best
They captivate your heart
Stand up to the windy test

High up into the sky
Marcy’s windmills whirl and whish
Catching the softest breeze
A windmill dreamer’s wish

Not only does Marcy love windmills
She loves her chickens as well
Beauties those chickens are
Grown with love you can tell

So maybe, folks, you’ll run across
Marcy, that lady of style
She’ll no doubt pour fresh cups of tea
And visit with you awhile!
