Like a raging beast, declining fast.
Decreasing power, this empty core.
Descending desire; lust nevermore.

Airing aspirations of me alone.
Resenting ruse, requiring need.
Festering famine, for you I feed.

Covet then embrace
Beloved thy trance

of this sinister shadow now over me.
Lying safe upon a bed of rusty nails,
blanketed in a cloak of woeful misery.
