Two worlds that I live in, both live on the shore of a sea

One, impregnated with the dreams of the rise
The other, giving me a life to surmise

It reverberates in my conscience
the aroma of your being
Even if the distances are a few thousand kilometers
My love has not lost it's sheen
...

I breathe the stale air of demise
It's the stench of death that makes me walk upright
torrid it seems to the humans alone
For beasts and me, this anathema is a state bygone.

Why is there so much calmness in the muddled waters of sea?
Is there a storm that is brewing some distance away!
Or the waves have decided to take a little break
Before the torrential winds again make them sway
...

I am waiting for something,
perhaps for the next sunrise
Or maybe for an event more enchanting
'a smile in your eyes'.

The offspring of misplaced priorities
my life's searching for certitude
Maybe not in the established norms of the world
beneath the surface of these answers in multitudes.

Where from would you break me?
Would you chisel me with a pen
or garnish me with the sweetness of your love
and then bake me with your wisdom in good omen
