Maybe - Poem by Jewel Datri

Maybe we were meant to be friends
Maybe that’s just how it’s supposed to be
All I know is that I’ll help you till the end
Maybe that’s why God put you in front of me

Maybe I’m supposed to save a life
Maybe I’ll become like a sister to you
Maybe I’ll save you from days, months, or years of strife
Maybe I’m here to help you find your true

Maybe my life was meant to improve yours
Maybe our forever-s will eventually part
Maybe our relationship is true to the core
Maybe, just maybe, I’ll change your heart

Maybe us as we know, are worth everything to each other
Maybe we will reach our peak in life and never fall
All I know is that these are just maybe’s
And maybe I’m worth nothing at all
