Melancholy Washed With Sadness - Poem by Luke Timms

To the winds that half blow
To the skies that half glow
To the islands isolated by sea
To the sights we never see
To the memories that we choose
To The faces which we lose
To the hearts we let break
To the emotions we fake
To the soldiers who lost the fight
To the life without its light
To the howls we can’t let out
To the lonely with only doubt
