Memories Of Your Mother - Poem by Angela M Weber

Thinking of you each and every day-your loss I will never understand
there is no more pain or suffering your now embraced in GOD's hands
Your teachings of strength, determination, courage and calm
are embedded within me along with the gentle touch of your palm
not only have you taught me kindness and the love of life
also taught me hardships and how to face strife
you were not only the foundation in which I stand firm
along with the lessons in life I must still learn
holding my hand tight and forging ahead
your love understanding never had to be said
as I look up past the clouds I can see your smiling face
while lookin down upon me your content in the Lord's grace
Your spirit runs through my heart, your love for me in my mind
the words that were left unspoken are memories I put on rewind
I will hold my head up high and will try to smile
think of you often when I go that extra mile
So, for now on when I look upon your face
I will know-you've moved on to a much better place.
