Memory –haunted Love’s Trophy By Ray Subrata - Poem by Subrata Ray
This love would ever remain in secret,
As the bridge of our mutual bond, in life,
Like Mystery darling’s invisible self,
Under life-poetry’s secluded memory,
Through Time’s rolling gear.
The dumb in their flourishing mirth,
Would record on each day’s birth,
As if the transcended dreams,
Clearly crystal cadence cream.
In each other’s arms with cozy embrace,
With post twilight’s haunting phase,
Blinding the tempted eyes, in requited blanched.
And again in Autumn’s moisture, the advent of Rains.
Pre-mediated meeting sequences,
Flash in the vistas of hearts,
A live-painting sagas of youth,
In the reddish freshness of the sinking sun.
The day’s fatigue, in night’s hopper,
Find melting mitigation in nectar-touch,
And the life bird’s wings break away the cage,
For the coveted contact in each new rose.
Ah mortal body, thou have tested, the immortal alchemy,
And your summation of the past, hang as your senses’ trophy! ! !
