Missing You - Poem by Melissa Diaz

Years have gone by,
since I last saw you.
Holding me in your arms was no lie.
It was just a dream, I dreamt
that you'll come back, but I know,
dreams are more than real.
My dear,
do you remember the year,
that you told me:
'Life is fun,
you can't spend it on the run.
Life is free,
do not waste it in your misery.
Crying while running away from
things that happened.
It's not good being sad and,
mad just because you did
something very bad.
Inside.'
