Mom - Poem by Nelson Torres
Your unrecognized power I documented as truth,
But how much longer will it stay till you realize it was part of your booth.
When will you doubt, we have all the proof,
All they needed was for you to loose.
Once in a while, we all get so lonely,
Feels like everyone around you is a fucking phony.
And everything you believed in always seemed false,
You don't know how much it effects the beat of your pulse.
You can go from straight alive right away to dead,
All the shit you cherished was nothing but real to you in your head.
Just never give into the careless temptations,
Learn to hide and have pride with your endless patience.
Even if this world is so god damn tasteless
You know you always had one thing that made you so gracious.
Your beauty was something that was never questionable;
The way you moved your mind through the most testable,
It was all about the way you stopped to hesitate
Never lost sight of something that brings you your present state.
Just being around your crappy family's presence,
Nothing was able to make your happiness lessen.
You always managed to wear a recreational glow,
I just want to explain that you're beautiful.
