Moment - Poem by Jessica Nychkalo

Who would have thought
Through the distance
Through the time without eachother
That our love would survive
And even grow stronger
I don't see you enough
We can't talk enough
Yet I have never stopped loving you
Not after weeks apart
Not even after we found others
Just seeing you those few times
Was enough for our fire to burn brighter
I have never been happier
Then in the moments I have spent with you
Every single second has been precious
Every word shared over dinner
Every smile shared at a movie
Eveery laugh shared in the car
I can still taste your lips
And hear your beating heart
I can still feel your hands intertwined in mine
I could never forget
All the feelings I have felt with you
Not even for a moment
