Moment With A Stranger Poem by Jude Thadeus

Moment With A Stranger

I woke up that morning,
Took my bathe, dressed up
And took off a journey to an unknown land…
I was told it's a beautiful city,
Behold, I felt the beauty when I arrived.
Although I was so quiet and hibernated like Taiwan PC,
Never spoke to anyone, only few questions while locating my destination.

Here I came to Garrison Park,
Never thought I would have conversation…
In the mini shuttle I met her, she's so friendly and cultured,
Like a dove she winged to me…
She collected my little frame as I struggled to enter the car.
And she asked; 'are you an artist'?

There begun a conversation with her.
Oh, I never had much time to finish…
But her last word was; 'you will be stopping here'.
Guess her name?

I don't call her as she calls herself.
Like a dove she winged pass me, and I called her 'ANGEL',
She calls it 'ANGELINE'.

To me, TIME and MOMENT are just alike…
But this day, I could differentiate between time and moment.
My whole journey was quite boring,
Behold, the moment with the stranger 'ANGELINE',
Which flew in seconds and minutes was the best of my journey.
I don't regret meeting her; she is still my good friend…
I regret the opportunity I never had to see that pretty face again,
And finish the conversation we started.
That was the MOMENT I can't define…
The TIME I can't hold tight nor see again.
