Moon Knight Poem by Nate Tulay

Moon Knight

Rating: 3.7

I woke up with my Ka on a Spring day,
no longer delirious, no longer asleep,
I analyze creation in a quest to better
understand my surroundings, life is our
experiences, sin is unhealthy actions,
death is a portal to a new body, rebirth is
the upper skies awakening within your senses,
and you, you are Conscience, Conscience
entwined with Science. Darling, I woke up with
my Ka on a Spring day, no longer delirious,
no longer asleep, I analyzed creation
and wept for all who still believe in a God.

The preachers say, "we weep for the non-believers. For, they will be denied their entry to heaven." Here just the contrary. An atheist crying for the believers. Nice juxtapositioning. Ingenious.5 *s

thanks buddy, it means a lot... but the line about the upper skies could also be seen as the heavenly skies too... which is also causing the poet to weep for the believers too as a result of his personal experiences with the heavenly skies...lol
