Mortal Love Cast Up Upon Shores Morning Light Poem by Terence George Craddock

Mortal Love Cast Up Upon Shores Morning Light

mystic lines silver cast in moonlight
the moon is the lure the inescapable net
hot summer nights scent hook soul lost
to woven spell spun romance moonlight
pull of lunar influence infuses the night
beware love spell cast lover's moonlight
with skin pale curves our eyes are lust caught
with slender limb legs are honey trap hearts caught

in rapture moonlit night lovers are naked fish caught
till dawn approaching darkness fading first light
casts lover's up upon beach spent tide retreating lust
like fish out of water gasping for air landed caught
cold gentle night breeze fading wakes limbs spent
cast up upon shores of morning is mortal love cast
