I usually come across many poems under the theme but most of them are not with poesy. Your poem is different in this sense. Though a routine theme is handled, it is being handled with care and a poetic approach. Usually, people do not care about the economy of words but you are mindful of this. Very good.

It is a prayer before Mother Goddess, the source of all life to fill heart with love and faith, , to rise above narrowness that divides the world.Congratulations for being chosen-Poet of the Day.

These words on reading are interesting: giving the opportunity to reflect on one's own memories. It gives the illusion we have been led to believe we're too old for wishing comfort from our mother. Of course you're never regardless of age. Congratulation! ! !

Hoping to live up to gifts bestowed by mother...Looking to mother as source of sustaining strength...Her thoughts are inborn in us...The filial gratitude in this poem broadens from one's own birth mother to the Mother Goddess of the Universe.
