i wish i could tell you verbally but

Her mind quickly flips through her memory
reminding her of the constant rain
pouring out from her eyes
but tonight her eyes were dry as the desert
...

After you left me sitting on the bench,
I thought to myself, when will the numbness in my heart wear off
we yelled we cussed we did things to compromise
everything melted through our fingers quickly
...

I stare at you while you were sitting on top of the rock
looking back and forth between the ocean breeze and you
one glance at you a pang of tearing in my heart makes me
want to crawl towards you and comfort you
...

The time strikes midnight and my eyes drooped terribly with tiredness
why not get some sleep?
is that even possible? probably not
its my heart inside me beating restlessly
...

Looking out the sunny gleamy window

the sun flashed at me
...

Friday's sunlight sinked inside the room filling every spacious room
tucking away my eyes from the sunlight
but it still made it's way in, forcing my tears to come pouring out
as if that is what I was missing inside
...

The emptiness when you left I felt like a hollow tree

It didn't make up for the pouring rain
and the cool winter air
...

Here, I go again.waiting for midnight to strike its fear.
Eyes droop, far enough that cause me to see illusions
Slowly my body shuts down, a few to many seconds
Someone comes knocking at my heart, ....far to hard
