Musings On A Dating Website - Poem by Joydeep Sircar

Puerile stuff, mostly, in bad prose
or worse,
verse.

Blogs: logorrhea, misspellings, secondhand thoughts
lots.

Hard ladies with nice curves out to maritally collar
dollars.

There are also the pricks and bimbos moaning Let's
sex.

Sometimes an unpolished gem of naive emotion:
fun.

And the hope of finding the girl inside my head?
Dead.
