My Bliss (Love Poem) Poem by Alexander M. Sirnes

My Bliss (Love Poem)

My head meets the pillow and the feeling of relaxation is instant.
At the end of a day spent with a soul I crave, I am overwhelmed with thoughts, dreams and comfort.
You enter the abstract world of my mind and erase all bad and leave only a trace of your scent.
Throw me into a realm of bliss and make me whole. I need it. I crave it.
Invade my private space and find the home I have perpared for you.
Your skin so soft, your smile so serene.
My eyes open wide and your presence has faded with the slumber that brought you to me.
It leaves me with a need for you, a hope and the will to overcome any challenge I may face,
in the attempt to make this bliss everlasting.
