My Blue Poem by Rose Bell

My Blue

Rating: 5.0

You are the sky
I can't help but be in awe
Of your stars
And of course
The moon in your smile

You are the ocean
Deep and blue
You're all I can see
You're all I want to see
Your love is the waves
That threaten to drown me

Am I to be scared
Because the sky is not always starry
The terrors that thunder and lightning
Leave in their wake
Am I to fear
The expanse of the ocean
That I might get lost
That I might lose myself

But how can I fear
When your voice is in the wind of the storm
And if the water fills my lungs
It just means we got closer

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

"how can I fear When your voice is in the wind of the storm"…. ‘Your voice in the wind' alleviates my fears of the destructive powers of the very storm… fantastic 5*
