My Broken Song - Poem by Johnny Golding

Can you hear my broken song,
Drift along the wind?
Can you hear my cries of loss,
Echo through the halls?
Can you hear my rusty sobs,
Break the empty silence?

Can you see my silent tears,
Trickle down my face?
Can you see my sunken eyes,
Trapped in my swollen face?
Can you feel my deathly stare,
Bear down upon your back?

Can you feel my lonely thoughts,
Shift throughout our past?

    Hello Johnny,
What a lovely poem - and a beautiful lilting rhythm.
    Warmest regards,
