Anna Watson

My Dad - Poem by Anna Watson

A heart of gold
Treads heavy on the soul
A crescendo
Bellowing
Elephants descending
Enveloped in silence
Lost in time
Dialects merging
Reason diverging
Quick to speak
Raised voices ascend
Sleep
My heart
My soul
My tears
My home.
