My Dream - Poem by Gordon Jerome

My dream is to live in the wild deep woods
Far and away from all neighborhoods
Living life beneath the majestic tall trees
Enjoying raw nature whenever I please
Sitting beneath them with the rain comeing down
Watching it splash all over the ground
Enjoying the smells after a soft summer rain
If you have never smelt it I cannot explain
Like the aroma of the grasses all soaking wet
Or the freshness in the air you often get
Theres a freedom I feel when I'm out in the wild
Like the way that I felt when I was a child
Accepting the experiences that happen to me
Living with the animals a simple life free
You can search all your life but never will find
A feeling like this amongst all mankind.
'closing thought'
Dreams can fill your Heart with a burning desire
Or build up your Spirit to a brite roaring Fire
