My Dreams - Poem by saul haro

Of my dreams keep me up at night
Has gotten them within sight

Helps me finish what I start
Sets me and you apart

Keeps me dreaming throughout my day
Makes me fight to get my way

All my dreams I will transcend
My core is rock I will not bend

Trepidation I will not acknowledge
I’m a sponge I thirst for knowledge

Bans those who lied
Has been my guide

I seek for my soul
I have regained control

I carry for all my work
I strike to those who lurk

Sinister beings
Show no face
From this earth
You will be erased

Illuminate my shadows
From night to day
Allow me to see the signs
That show the way

Ignorance will overshadow
Intelligence that’s unheard
Never let yourself be silenced
If you believe
Let your voice be heard…
