My Friend - Poem by Lisa Clean

My friend you're not my family
My friend you're not my lover
My friend you're my soulemate
you're my everyone

I love it when we talk
I love it when we laugh
I even love is when we fight
We do that a lot

Life brings us together
Life drives us apart
I know I can always find you
In my heart

What future will bring us
We will wait and see
But you must promise
That you will wait for me

A soulmate who is not a lover?
In the normal circumstances soulmate will also be your lover and Hence I did not understand it properly
