My Hateful Prison Poem by Amal Mara'beh

My Hateful Prison

All people live in their houses
Except me!
I live in a narrow room
Between insects and mice.

There are no windows.
Only four walls.
Small doors….
Lead to dark holes.

I die everyday,
But no one hears my calls.
No one sees the tears,
And no one feels my falls
