My Heart's Wicket Poem by sherry ann estacion

My Heart's Wicket

Milk was on my lips
When my heart welcomed a stranger
To be always there for you
And will stay forever

Each time I glance at you
Stars are all over
All of a sudden they fell
No longer found, I wonder…

He lost the keys of the door of my heart
And didn’t found it back
It remained close till now
Like colors to white and black

The door shrunk in agony
And shut to avoid pain
Closed tightly to be healed
For my strength to regain

Only the sincere and brave
Will find my heart’s wicket
To try and unlock it again
With the keys from his pocket
