My Last Wish - Poem by Ayda Riley

Even if my last day was to come
Even if death took me up in it’s arm
Still in front of my eyes
Will be that day I spent with you

After you my heart has closed
To any love that may come
I lived that one day with you
Like a thousand years my love

My eyes will close in peace
Even if I die today
My ears still ringing
With all your words

Don’t touch my love
Just let it stay
Let anyone who doesn’t know
Learn the meaning of love today

If they came and asked me my last wish my love
They would only need to look into my eyes and see...
