My Life - Poem by Janae Woodfield

My life is so confusing,
I've been walking through it lost & dismayed,
Trying to catch my breath,
& end the crazy haze.

My life is so confusing,
I hope & pray,
To get a break, To break away,
For my life to be lived day by day.

My life is so confusing,
The pain & mental bruising of days like this,
I think back and say,
I wish, Oh how I wish.

My life is so confusing,
Guy troubles, Friend troubles,
My heart has been lost,
Broken and shattered to Meier rubble.

My life is so confusing,
But I wouldn't have it any other way,
Through the pain and the heart ache,
I pray, every night for one more day.
